Pastors’ Prayer Fellowship

“Pastor’s Building Relationships through Fellowship and Prayer”

Father Church serves as a Facilitator for a Fellowship of Jacksonville’s Pastor’s which brings together leaders from every segment of the Christian Church. Meeting quarterly the Fellowship provides inspiration and opportunity to unite the churches in the vision of the prayer of Jesus in John 17:21 “That they all may be one…that the world may believe”.

Global Day of Prayer

The Global Day of PrayerThe strong historic connection between Jacksonville and Cape Town, South Africa, goes back 500 years to the settlement of the French Huguenots. The modern connection between the two cities arises from the fact that both The Global Day of Prayer and Father Peter Church originate in the city of Cape Town. With the invitation of Pastor John Thomas in 2010 and Graham Power in 2011 to be speakers at the GREATER JACKSONVILLE PRAYER BREAKFAST, the possibility was born of Jacksonville being the Host City for the GLOBAL DAY OF PRAYER in 2011.

DancingThe First Celebration of the Global Day of Prayer in Jacksonville occurred on May 23rd 2010 when 2,000 people gathered in Metropolitan Park.

Father Peter Church was invited to be the honorary chair for the Global Day of Prayer Celebrations in Jacksonville. Together with Charlie Christie and Jim Young, the three formed the Executive Committee for the June 11th, 2011 Celebration in the Veterans Memorial Arena.

Ongoing continuation of the GDOP – NINETY DAYS OF BLESSING AND BEYOND

Faith Based Partnerships: An active participation by the Church in opportunities to assist in practical ways with the well-being and education of the children in our education system.
